About the Founder
Zé Otero is a dedicated community leader, public health professional, and certified life coach committed to empowering individuals and transforming lives. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociocultural Studies from the University of Havana and is currently completing his Master of Public Health at Walden University.
As the founder of the Daysi in Memoriam Program, Zé has led impactful initiatives focused on supporting incarcerated women and facilitating their successful reintegration into society. His leadership was internationally recognized through his selection for the prestigious Younger Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI 2016) by the U.S. Department of State.
Zé is a Certified Community Health Worker by the Virginia Board of Health Professions and a certified life Coach through IAP Career College, Canada. He has contributed to major healthcare organizations, including INOVA (Juniper Program) and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
With over 20 years of community service, Zé has dedicated his career to helping others grow, lead, and succeed—guiding individuals to discover their path and become their best selves.
